Podium
For several months now, WePod has been organizing workshops in high schools across Europe to teach podcasting to young people. The main objective is for them to learn how to tell stories in audio and to learn as well about all the work involved in making a podcast. In this episode, Javi Caminero is joined by Cathal O’Luanaigh, Program and Communications Manager at News Decoder, WePod’s French Partner, to discuss everything related to these workshops. A very important part of the WePod project is its desire to bring our stories to the widest possible audience. And in order to reach more markets and make our stories easily heard and understood around the world, we felt it was necessary to translate our podcasts into English. To get an in-depth look at how the English remakes of the WePod project are done, Javi Caminero is joined by Alex Ricci, Coordinator of all the productions in WePod and Chief Operating Officer of Europod.
